Exciting!!!

Last night we spent the 4th with some good friends. We had a fried chicken dinner with salads, veggies, and dessert, then caught up while the kids all played very nicely.

Later, we went to Mount Washington to watch some fireworks - one of the best places in the city to catch the show. The fireworks were a better this year than previous years. I couldn't tell if it was because the city had removed more brush this year (that normally blocks some of our view) or what. Someone at church told me today that it wasn't the same company that does them from year to year. That could have been it, too.

Either way - we all had a great time.
